I found, and bought, the following LP's over the weekend:
'Last Mango in Paris' ~ $3
'Hot Water' ~ $3
'Volcano' ~ $4.99
All are in very good-excellent condition. Are these good prices?

Sounds like a lot less than what I got. I have 9 reocrds, and got them for anything between $4 and $8.

Sounds pretty good. I have been buying a few off eBay and can usually get them from 6-10 and that includes shipping

Most LP's really aren't worth much, but I think you got good deals on those LP's. I try to strike gold at Goodwill stores and have found a lot of Buffett records in great shape for $1. Most of the ones I find in record stores go for about $5 if they are in pretty good shape. I bought some plastic sleeves and some adhesive tape and decorated the walls of my room with his LP covers.

Nice display Gumbo!
They do sell album frames these days too - Target and Restoration Hardware have them I know.
We need a new house with a basement, but hopefully it will be divided in some way, because my husband will want to display all his Raiders stuff, and I'll want to display all my Buffett stuff, including a dozen or so LP's. It'll be silver and black meets all the colors of the rainbow! I think the practical way to split it will be for him to get the big screen TV area, and I'll get the bar area!
Oh yeah, almost forgot, we need the basement to house all the keet's toys! Better look for something even bigger!

For all those with LP's that they are hanging on walls,
www.restorationhardware.com makes LP holders, nice glass frame, etc. I think for $20 for two, at least thats what it cost when I framed the LPs I purchased, I've paid somewhere between $3 - $10 for LPs.
