This is the first Thanksgiving that JB and his sisters, children, spouses and other extended family members are going to spend without the Matriarch & Patriarch of the Buffett clan. I for one, wish them all the best on this holiday, as well as everyday. Although some of us, myself included, tend to exhibit a devil-may-care appearance, we all have the same deep emotions. Regardless of celebrity status, or position in the pecking order, when it gets down to basics, we all have an awful lot in common. I know a lot of us have had this same thought. Thanks for starting the thread. This holiday season is bound to be tough for them. And this will be Jimmy's first birthday without his mom as well.

My mom calls me at 7:10 on my birthday to wish me a happy day. I was her fourth, but she still remembers the time of my arrival...
