I think it was somewhere between "I love that road" and "the Grrrrrrrrraaaaminy nominated Sonny Landreth".phinhead wrote:He had trouble speaking Southerneese.mikemck wrote:What gave him away? LOL...phinhead wrote:He sounds drunk!!
God bless him. He's earned the right to blow off a little steam.

Figures he would sing two of my favorites. Oh well-You can't always get what you want-so you might as well have another beer.
Bring me the hot sauce, bring me a beer. Going to be the last man standing, but where do you go from here?

I can't believe this. I went out on the town tonight, hooked up with a 21 year old with a kid (by hookup I mean making out at the bar...I'm only 25). And I miss this? I thought I had the greatest story coming out of tonight to find that I missed Jimmy! (*#$*#!!!!! Does anyone have a copy of this!? I'm in desperate need! I'm talking Knees Of My Heart...PLEASE! Send me a private message! I need this!

Yes, it was from Margaritaville Key West,Cajunph wrote:I missed the whole damn thing. Was this at M'ville Key West? Now this is the kind of live recording Mailboat needs to publish.
It wasn't one of Jimmy's finest moment musically!
But, he was having a B I G time

Me too! If anyone did record it, let me know....I'll send a blank CD along with money for postage if you'd be kind enough to burn me a copy. Thanks in advance to anyone who may have been smart enough to record it!
Just got an email from RM. I asked if it was going to be rebroadcast and they said probably not.
They said that it was a spur of the moment thing (which I have to assume is true, since they pre-empted Dan Hicks) and wasn't recorded. So it looks like this is just going to be one of those things that goes down in Parrothead lore that a couple of us were fortunate enough to catch.
Sorry if you missed it, it really was great.
