Looks like most of us are having our pre-season at Charlotte or Raleigh, which will fine tune us for the regular season in NISSAN!!!!

Just read the following at on the venue's website. Is this something we should be concerned about?

" PARKING
Parking is convenient in secure, well-lit lots adjacent to the Pavilion. The parking fee is included in the price of the concert ticket. Please note that Virginia state law prohibits the consumption of alcoholic beverages in the parking lots. This law is strictly enforced. "

We had no problems there last year. They just frown on glass bottles. Its ALL good

There was SO much open drinking going on at Nissan last year... Matter of fact we were on the corner and the security was there they never said a thing.
Merriweather WAS bad...

or was it I was BAD at Merriweather

Ok so it was both

I think as long as people are not acting like a bunch of jacka$$es they will not say anything.

I believe most of us are staying at the Red Roof Inn...where we stayed last year.

Drinking was not a problem last year. As long as you stay away from glass bottles....like Joann said.

Wow, this is a long thread. I didn't read the whole thing. Nissan is very relaxed about drinking. Like everyone has said, no glass though. We have been parked over by the little pond thing the last several years and it has been great. Hopefully we'll get the same spot again.

MY GIRLFRIEND IS GENIOUS!!!!!

If the show does end up being over July 4th weekend, the GF suggested repainting the fin red white and blue!!! HOW FREAKIN' COOL WILL THAT LOOK DUDES!!!!

yes, the red roof inn is where we will be staying; but the pavilion lot is where we party... even though the date is not confirmed, i would call and get your room just in case... they do not charge a cancellation fee

I am arriving on Friday for 2 nights.

The Red Roof has not pool. The Best Western does and so does the Marriott Courtyard. There is also a Holiday Inn and a Country Inn & Suites. All our within 1/4-1/2 mile from each.

They arel located at I-66 exit 47B.

Frank I have been to Manassas twwice and they allow tailgating.

Last year we got in a 1pm because we paid $20 for VIP parking.
