I wonder someone should call the hotel as request that we get some rooms close to each other.
Ok, here's an idea.......

Everybody who is interested in trying to reserve rooms in close proximity PM me the names you reserved with.......I just called the Arena and they said they could do it. WooHoooo!!! I'll check back this evening sometime and hopefully this is something y'all are still interested in doing! :D :D :D
Just a reminder.......I've only gotten 1 name so far

Think I should get a room at the arena since there will be partying there before the show (and prolly some after hehe) I dont really want to get drunk at the concert and then have to sleep in my car because I dont want to drive home drunk, b/c that's just stupid. How much would a room be there? Going rate?

Welcome Earl....

If you call the hotel direct it is $89.oo a room...

I asked them for corporate rate and they gave me $79.00 if three days...

That includes breakfast and kitchen, I believe.

And bathtub full of ice......

Remember the urban legend about the bath full of ice......????? THey weren't storing brew in that tub.

I can't wait.

as i have said before, check the various travel web pages. there is a motel near the areana hotel, that i imagine is much cheaper.

Jeepgirl would knwo for sure.

If they don't then we'll do the rooms. There should be close to 10 rooms booked with us.
since it seems that i am the lone san jose rep on this board, i will check out what the areana hotel has to offer in the way of a courtyard, and other useful info.

......
I beg your pardon Mason I was born and raised in San Jose.

here is hte website to the hotel

http://www.pacifichotels.com/arena/

I am absolutely swamped at work but I will get everything together this weekend
i am sure jeep girl knows this, but i will add this info. the areana hotel is a small hole in the wall hotel about 1/2 a mile from the areana, easy walking distance. it does not have a pool or a common area outside where people can get together to make plans for the day. it does have a good sized resturant and lobby.

peggy sues is in area called san pedro square which is within walking distance beyond the "jimmy buffett parrothead training center" (aka " the shark tank") peggy sues does have tables on the sidewalk but no cover if it rains. there is also a parking lot on one side of it, with another resturant bar next door on the other side. there are also about 5 or 6 other resturant/ bars along with the deanza hotel in that area.

cousin in miami, you might want to consider renting a car to get around, since you are coming in earlier.

also jeep girl, would you consider that the spagehtti factory has a good sized bar, big enough for a large group of people?.

also. where in san jose did you used to live jeep girl? i am in the blossom hill/snell area.

I grew up near Cupertino and Saratoga. In the early 90's I lived by Meridian and Hillsdale (walking distance the Cardinal Lounge), also
lived in Campbell for a while.

I'll just have to look at how much money I have when the concert comes around and make my decision from there.

Hi all!!!!

Just a reminder.... one more week to PARROT-ICE ON THE PACIFIC!!!

DId anyone see Jen's cute butt??? Well, I thought to myself... "self... wouldn't that look really sexy under my grass skirt...."

So, off I speed... I tried to find a fake butt all over Portland this weekend.. .. BUT NO>>>>> I will have to start eating NOW to have one cause NONE, no not one... could be found...

I went to several party stores.. and each sent me to Spencer's... After I arrived there, a young lady that worked there pointed me to the adult section.....

NO NO NO that isn't the kind of butt that I want.. I want a big fat one.... she said, "we don't have any of those.. but back in that section, you can find boobs and ....................... " fill in the blank. ha ha ha

What a idiot... who did she think I was.. some sort of PERVERT!!!! or is that prevert???

I even went to Yahoo search and typed "fake butt" and now I have all kinds of cookies from porno sites on my laptop......

JEN>>>>> can I borrow your butt???>??

Colin????? you help me on everything... you told me to stop posting stupid things and to personally post you and it will stop getting me in trouble.... HELP>>>> I need help getting two fake butts....

One for me... and one for the lovely daughter... doubt she'd wear it, though!!!

But, truthfully, wasn't JEn's butt attractive????
