Live In Mansfield, MA

Post by prthd4353 »

Havent Gotten the Actual CD's in the mail yet but I did download 1 song off of itunes. It seems like the songs are much louder than the Auburn and Las Vegas Cd's. The quality seems better as well.

I can't wait to get my copy. I wish more of Thursday nights show (which I was at) was on the cd but I am assuming this will be amazing anyways. And it is good to hear that it is louder then the other 2 live cd's. I will post my review when I receive my CD :D

I got my copy today, and the quality is much better than the other live cd's, much louder. I'm wondering where "Sea Cruise" was recorded at because it says the show was recorded on the 30th which makes it the Saturday show but he didn't play it that night. Anyone know where it's from?

I was at the Thursday show... "Sea Cruise" was awesome! Do you happen to notice if that is the only song not recorded on Saturday?

Mansfield Live is a Great CD

Post by Ed_Mon »

Any of us would have paid $40 for a bootleg this good. The Mansfield CD is a lot of fun especially if you were there and I haven't missed a Mansfield show in 10 years (every night, every year, whatever it takes!). The sound is great and there are a lot of great comments and ad libs about cape cod, the islands, and the golf tournament that was next door that weekend. What was really great is that the CD brought back all kinds of memories about that night. Highly recommended!!!

I picked up both Mansfield and Cincy on last Thursday night at circuit city. Guess they slipped out early!

Well, went to Best Buy at lunch and they don't have it... I'm not really suprised since no one in this god forsaken hole of a city knows who the hell Jimmy Buffett is.

Has anyone else had a chance to see if it is in stores yet? (Other than the few who said they found it in stores early) Is this just an NYC thing or is there another issue with these CDs getting released like the last time?

8) I have bought all four live concert cd's on the day they came out and I was only able to find them at Circuit City. I agree with everyone else that Mansfield is better. I think it is better, not since it is louder, but you can hear a lot more of the crowd in this one. Maybe thats because they are louder! Anyways, They are great! I am waiting for him to come out with Chicago. I was at both and they were great. Even if he doesn't, Boston is just a cd away. On a side note, what are we going to do when he retires in 30 years?! I can dream at least.

Got a call from my mommy last night at 11:30. After searching NYC for the CD I had given up. Mom said she found it at Wal-mart upstate. She was like a kid in a candy store because it was the first Buffett CD she's ever bought. I'm so proud! I told her to keep and listen to it every day to get prepared for her first Buffett show this year at Nissan!
So, for me the search continues. At this point, the sensible thing would just be to buy it online, but now this has turned into a quest and I won't stop until I have found it!
