2003 Top Buffett Moment For Me
August 23rd at Tinley Park when JB dedicated This Hotel Room to my namesake.
I know Jimmy Buffett, Jimmy Buffett is a friend of mine. Son, you're no Jimmy Buffett!

I didn't go to GW, but MIAMI was YOUR night, huh, SGH!!!!!SchoolGirlHeart wrote:Great Woods, It's My Job followed by School Boy Heart, comes in a close second.

For me, it was Houston and Dallas. Getting to meet Molly's family and see the show with them....and then Dallas...well, that was a riot for me. Loved every second of it!
Gentilly ... 42 years is a long time to wait .... a Northeast Texas woman can hope.

Top Jimmy Buffett moment for me
Actually this wasn't in 2003, but quite a few years back, before I became a huge parrothead. I lived in a place called DeFuniak Springs, FL, and me and a friend of mine were cruising around town, and we drove by a gas station, and lo and behold there was JB's bus, so we turned around and by the time we got back to the station, it was already taking off! I still kick myself in the ass for not jumping out of that car and running up to that gas station!

I've been there. We go to Destin just about every year and pass right through there on the way. We spent the night there one night several years ago; it's a very nice little town. I wonder what Jimmy was doing there.gcraft wrote:Actually this wasn't in 2003, but quite a few years back, before I became a huge parrothead.
