Seems like Alan Jackson has found a new creative partner for 2004.
How quickly they forget...

Alan Jackson And Martina McBride On Tour For Superstar Pairing In 2004

Nashville, TN - January 29 is Day One of a season of superstar excitement as reigning CMA Entertainer and Male Vocalist of the Year Alan Jackson teams with Female Vocalist of the Year Martina McBride for one of 2004's most compelling tours. With 30 dates currently on tap, the tour's blockbuster pairing of Jackson and McBride brings together country's preeminent male and female artists for a concert series hitting major markets from Denver to Philadelphia and Providence to Birmingham.

I'm missing your point I think... :-? How does this jilt Jimmy? You wouldn't have wanted him to tour with Alan Jackson would you? I wouldn't anyway... keep 'em separate, and limited to a surprise appearance of one or the other, here or there.

Since they both sell out every venue they play, what would be the point of touring together? Thank god their not! We'd never get tickets!

The "Jilt Jimmy" term was a marketing ploy to boost readership!

Bubba touring with anybody would be horrible for parrotheads for one main reason, less time to play! Just let Club Trini do a half hour set at the gates of the shows starting around 7:00 like they've done in the past.

Bubba makes a million a show if you average out the Pollstar results... and he puts on a three hour show. He doesn't NEED anyone else...

Not like you can fit more bodies in a venue JB is playing anyway, so it would only mean less money for him.

Posting from my laptop at Margaritaville Vegas.....

Bartender Danielle says hello....

All well said, sorry, as great as Alan is (I have seen him in concert...terrific), Jimmy is a headliner performer....period.

Alan and Jimmy was a one night stand...in the waning years of Jimmy's touring days, please do not have anyone suggets he team up with anyone.

The man is a conglomerate...gotta go, we are clapping to the Volcano song as the Volcano is blowing a load of Margaritas into the big cup...you had to be here...just gave another 50 bucks to Jimmy (and half to Park Place, owner of the Flamingo).

Looking forward to manana....New Years at Jimmy's new place!

(Can you tell I have been drinking?)....guess I am leaving the bus in the Flamingo driveway....

I have seen AJ and will go again but I wouldn't walk across the street
to see MM I hate to be a hater but her "poor downtrodden soul" songs
just wear me thin. I think if she would change the channel and
sing about some happer subjects ar at least I don't know seem so
abused, I think she has a great voice and a very tight band

I like Martina McBride to a certain extent. Along with Alan Jackson.

Martina was smoked when she was doing crossroads with Pat Benatar on CMT. That is an awsome show, I still like Martina for some of her songs.

Martina's songs are mostly anti-men. "When God-fearin' women get the blues", "independence day", "this ones for the girls", "a broken wing", "blessed", etc etc etc...list goes on and on......I like her hair though :D

Alan jackson is ok by himself, but he needs a boostin' from ol' JB :D

I still like JB and JB Only.

HS
