This isn't the album review area, but I think that is usually for JB albums.
So, I'm putting my review here.
I don't think I've ever met a Coral Reefer/Club Trini CD that I didn't like. And Robert's is no exception. Robert either wrote and co-wrote 6 of the 12 songs on From the Heart and the CD was produced and arranged by Robert and Ralph MacDonald.
The songs are what I expected from a collaboration from Robert and Ralph. Of course, Robert shines on the pans. And Nadirah's voice is as beautiful as ever on Love Me Up in the Morning, Just the Two of Us and Kiss Kiss Kiss.
I have to comment on Stardust. This is a song my parents listened to when they were younger and I grew up on this type of music as a child. Hoagie Carmichael would be proud of the arrangement that was done on this song. The pans really fit in this song. For you youngsters out there, listen to this song.....it is amazing.
There are 3 other songs on this CD that you might have heard—Just the Two of Us (sung by Nadirah), My Heart (from Ralph’s new CD, but done as an instrumental) and Paradise Garden (from a Club Trini CD).
If you like Club Trini, I you can't go wrong in ordering this CD.
And check out the CD insert....our BNer/KLCer, Lee did it!!!

You’re still grinning, we’re still winning, nothing left to say

I Think the cd is fantastic. I am a new pannist myself and can't stop listening to it. Also after a few weeks after my cd arrived i received a poster from Robert signed.
