When do Alpine tickets normally go on sale?

Does anyone know when Alpine usually goes on sale?

The last 3 years it's been on the day of park district Easter Egg hunts
, which are always 2 Saturday's before Easter. (in other words, not Easter weekend, but the Saturday before.)
Last year it was supposed to be earlier, but they bumped it to Easter Egg Hunt weekend.
Needless to say, I've been unsuccessful hitting redial on my cell phone from amongst the masses of youngsters with baskets in hand.
I'm figuring they'll go on sale April 3rd this year.

The onsale dates will be announced with plenty of time to prepare for a purchasing strategy. Usually announced late Feb./early March.

I go every year but my dad gets the tickets. How long does it take for them to sell out?

Sells out in 3-5 minutes - and it holds more than 40,000 people.

Really, we get 100 tickets about two weeks later!
and we rent a huge bus!
