Did you win, lose, or break even?

With the plethera of pools around every corner, I'm just wondering how everyone did yesterday...

There were an assortment of lucky winners and disgruntled losers with some of the oddities like the 2-point attempts, and last minute score changes at halftime and the end of the game.

I personally recovered what I wagered by hitting $50 on the 3rd quarter.

My husband had about a dozen different things going. Even though he hit $100 on the final, and he had brief moments of glory on some near misses, he lost in the overall scheme of things.

Made no bets, just lost on the pools. Although there is one I haven't checked yet.

There's not an option for
"didn't even wager, because I'm not 'into' the Superbowl unless my team is playing."
Shocking, I know, but true.

I tried to edit and add it, but couldn't figure out how. Consider it noted!

The funny thing is, amongst the 40 or so people at the party we went to, who was playing and who was winning were on the bottom of the totem pole of importance... quarter-ending numbers were of upmost importance, followed by drink options, food options, the commercials, the teams, and lastly halftime entertainment! :wench: :D :P

I came out ahead. I won a few bucks on the game, but the real money maker was betting on the commercials. $1 ante every commercial break adds up pretty fast... :D

Football pool. $1 a square. Lost $7.
When they run you out of town make it look like you are leading the parade.
