Target on Ray Mears Blvd. behind Hooters got a big shipment of them yesterday. I think my girlfriend is going this afternoon for it.

Make sure they really have the CD. Like I said, Turkey Creek is advertising their CDs as having the bonus CD, but they *don't.*

something tells me Jimmy likes Kenny singing like him, although after listening to the cd alot this week, I think it sounds like Kenny....old Kenny, new Kenny but all the same Kenny

I've had a chance to listen to When The Sun Goes Down a few times now. I've followed Kenny almost his entire career and I gotta say Old Blue Chair is the best that he's done so far in his career. I have a lot more respect for singers that write their own songs, and listening to that song, it's clear he's come a long way. He mentions in the liner notes that every line in that song is true... very cool.

I like what someone else said earlier in this thread that the song is Kenny's "A Pirate Looks at Forty".

Also, Please Come to Boston, Come Monday, Marina Del Rey, I'm On Fire are all awesome

Got it for my birthday today. Yes, I got the right one and mrsmiata is taking the ripoff version back tomorrow. :D

What everybody is neglecting to really talk about is the additional three songs from the Knoxville concert.

Please Come To Boston is impressive. In fact, it and "What I Need To Do" are probably my faves on this one, though Old Blue Chair makes me wanna get back to my One Particular Harbor. :(

I have found myself listening to Please Come to Boston and What I Need To Do, along with Old Blue Chair, the most on the CD

I think it is good. Ten years down the road the head parrot head might be retiring :( :( :( , and even though he can't be replaced, we need something! Plus, Kenny's a great guy and he deserves the fame.

KC's new CD is GREAT! I've been spinning it non-stop since I bought it! Anywho, I'm going to his concert in Grand Rapids, MI on April 1st.... will any of my fellow PH's be there so I could put some more names with faces?

Kenny Chesney was on Good Morning America today so I stopped by the studio on my way to the office. He did 2 songs, Diane Sawyer said the second one was There Goes My Life, but I'm not familiar with his music so I don't know the title of the other song. And he's a little guy, he looks like a high school kid.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

Sorry, haven't looked at this thread in a few days. Here are the bonus songs:

1. Marina Del Ray
2. Come Monday
3. I Wonder Do You Think Of Me
4. I'm On Fire
5. I Always Get Lucky With You

*I think they're all cover songs. I recognize most of them.

I think they all are too. I like Kenny's version of I'm on Fire. Nice change from The Boss's

All the songs on the bonus CD are covers. "Marina Del Ray" was originally done by George Strait.
