They are real easy to work on, but Im sure very expensive if you have to pay for the work.crabman wrote:Just be glad you aren't the guy who would be working on it (after the warranty is up). I'm a Ford fleet wrench, and I don't ever want to pay the bill on fixing it!
Nice wheels..too bad there is no place you could actually "let her out" and get away with it left in America.
If I'm gonna spend $150k (minimum), I'll take a "dancing bull" (Gallardo) if you please.
Just a professional opinion.

CANT FIND THE WEIGHT RIGHT NOW BUT HERE'S AN INTERESTING SPEC
a Car and Driver magazine test driver drove a Ford GT from 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds. Car and Driver also recorded a quarter-mile time of 11.6 seconds at 128 mph. In the same test, Ferrari's $193,000 Challenge Stradale took four seconds to reach 60 mph and was 0.8 second and 13 mph slower through the quarter-mile.

interesting numbers. but can it really handle? i'm having visions of the dodge viper. faster than s*** in a straight line, but falls to the middle of the pack as soon as turns are introduced.
in the commercial they aired it looked like it was blowing out its rear end in every turn. couldn't tell if they were doing it on purpose for visual effect or not.
having seen the ferrari up close and personal on the track i can vouch for the fact that it's an absolute slot car when it comes to handling on a road course.

ALL I KNOW ABOUT THE COMMERCIAL IS IT WAS AT SOME PRETTY HIGH SPEEDS.I KNOW THEY HIT 140MPH.THEY DIDNT WANT TO MAKE IT LOOK FAKE SO THEY ACTUALLY WENT THAT FAST
