HR Buffett Stuff

Post by Tiki Bar »

I'm currently devising a plan to contain the hurricane of Buffett stuff that I've collected, and assemble it neatly in a year-round display.

How 'bout you?
You’re still grinning, we’re still winning, nothing left to say
I’m still gliding as I go flying down this endless wave

I have a box of Parrotphrenalia that gets pulled out for concerts, and a little bit of tropicalia sprinkled throughout the rest of my life. Fun stickers on my truck and desk at work, margarita earrings and tropical shirt that I wear when I need a pick me up, and our house is pretty beachy in general, though not specifically Buffett.

My bedroom is a Buffett room, with my records hanging on the wall and posters and stuff. I've also got several shirts I often wear and the concert stuff too

I have a gazebo that has several Buffett items in the rafter (Parrothead Parking sign, AIA sign, License Plate, etc.). I've been ordered by my wife not to hang anything else so that we don't look like the neighborhood "hoosiers". I asked if the red, white, blue "rope" lights don't already do that. I didn't get an answer.

In the house there are palms tree designs everywhere. I don't know if that counts.

The vehicle has a Caribbean Soul license plate and typically at least 1 or 2 JB CD's in the player.

I think I have an addiction. Can anyone recommend a good therapy group! :P

Our shrine to Jimmy (me & Captains Wench) is starting to take over our lounge, started with 2 shelves looking bare and now i need more shelves. The walls have all his Vinyl Lp's on them except 4 which which i will source soon, concert posters and signed stuff too.
So i vote 'A'. Our lives have been taken over.
Ok, i am working on a new page for our site so if any of you are willing to share your shrine send me a picture or 3 and see it on our site, i can't do this without your help as i am the only person i know over here that has a shrine to the man.
By the way we now have a new club logo and can supply iron-on transfers to attach to your own T-shirt with all profits going to charity, details can be found on our site www.parrotheads-uk.com

Dang! I meant to put that on there!

And I'm glad Auntie brought Pufnstuf to the table! ("the ultimate box set" kills me!!  ) When I initially typed Buffett stuff, the HR Pufnstuf song popped in my head right away too!

It could have been a Buffett song!

H.R. Pufnstuf,
Who's your friend when things get rough?
H.R. Pufnstuf
Can't do a little cause he can't do enough.

Once upon a summertime
Just a dream from yesterday
A boy and his magic golden guitar
Heard a boat from off the bay
"Come and play with me, Jimmy
Come and play with me.
And I will take you on a trip
Far across the sea."

:wench: :D

I have front and back license plate, and some BUFFETT stuff around the house. My WHOLE house is nautical so every room has stuff that could be said to be BUFFETTISH, mostly lighthouses, boats, nets, shells, antique maritime stuff, mermaids, not really TROPICAL, more dark side of maritime. If that is BUFFETT, then, whole house is.
