I live in Northwest Tennessee, and it takes every bit of 10-11 hours to get there, if we only stop to pee and get drive-thru for lunch! Destin is very nice.....it's the new Fort Walton!!!

Ilph, you must live in the extremely southern part of Illinois to get to Destin in 12 hours....either that, or you have a L.F.W.A.L.O.L. (lead foot with a lot of luck!)
