Shipwreck name??
Are you a Parrothead? (of course you are) Are you a wreck diver? If so, what is the name of the shipwrecked vessel that is featured on the back cover of that essential album "Songs You Know By Heart?"

ANSWER: The former USCG ARBUTUS.
After serving with the USCG, this vessel was used by Mel Fisher during the early search for and work on the ATOCHA. As such, she experienced many interesting events. She was boarded by the USCG once when they thought she was a drug runner. More interesting was the incident when she was attacked and almost sunk by the US Navy. The area where Fisher was searching for the ATOCHA near the Marquesas also hosts a USN range. There are a few target ships in the area. Well, one morning the crew was awaken by a USN jet on a training mission firing on their ship. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
The vessel eventually sunk due to age and neglect. She now rests out in the Marquesas.

Just more info.......
I'm reading the book Fatal Treasure by Jedwin Smith and it says that Jimmy was shooting the cover w/ the Arbutus when the Atocha treasure was found July 20 1985 and the next day gave a mini concert, aboard the Dauntless, the next day to include "A Pirate Looks At Forty"
