I disagree. Think prostitution. I would rather do anything on Fear Factor than subject myself to what some of these folks have to do for a few bucks (and more importantly, who they have to do it with).Jahfin wrote:Maybe they have, but not at the level of grossness that show goes for.
Is Fear a Factor For You?

I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. I'm sure if the head honchos at the TV networks thought they could get away with it, we'd see a show just like that. In the meantime I'll stick to other forms of entertainment that don't include people humiliating themselves in the pursuit of the almighty dollar (and that's not just Fear Factor, but "reality" based TV shows in general).rednekkPH wrote:I disagree. Last night was the finale of the 7 week couples challenge... WOW! I liked both couples that made it to the end, and was happy for the winners... they smiled the most and fought the least throughout the course of the competition.
For the 2nd to the last stunt, the girl had to be strapped down in a plexiglass box with 500 tarantulas crawling over her (and crickets to satisfy their hunger), while the guy transferred gross liquid from a bowl into a tube via his mouth to get the key, to unlock the hacksaw, to saw the pipe, to open the box... 1 couple took a bit over 2 minutes, 1 couple took a bit over 1 minute. The heavily favored couple who won most of the individual prizes, walked away without trying... the girl freaked out and couldn't let them put the spiders in...
As totally creepy as that would be, for a million dollars I have to think I would at least try it before freaking out. But obviously, fear was a factor for her!
There's a new bonus extreme Fear Factor on tonight! Yay!

You’re still grinning, we’re still winning, nothing left to say
I’m still gliding as I go flying down this endless wave
