Disney World

Post by McGee »

I'm going to Disney in April and we're staying at the Coronado Springs Resort.

Has anyone ever stayed there? I'm interested to know if the rooms have balconies or patios and what section (from what I've read it's a BIG resort) is best to stay in.

Thanks!
Indecision may or may not be my problem....

Coronado is a great resort! In fact it is my favorite Disney Hotel!

The Rooms do not have private balconies or patios, but there is a walkway outside of each room.

The resort is big, but there are bus stops throught the complex (I think 3 stops in total) so you will never be too far from Disney Transportation.

If you get there early enough, ask for a room that is near one of the "quiet pools". These pools are nice becasue they don't get as crowed as the main pool.

Also, one of the best things about Coronado is the easy access to other Disney Attractions. Since Coronado is Disney's largest Convention Hotel, they do a great job of keeping the busses moving, and the bus wait isn't nearly as long as what it is as some of the other hotels. Another plus, is that you never have to go the transportation center to transfer onto another buss, monorail or boat! (unless you want to see another resort)

It's a great hotel! Have fun!
