Unconfirmed Rumor: Buffett will be joining Alan Jackson and George Strait for a show during Memorial Day Weekend at Texas Stadium (instead of the Texas Motor Speedway). All 3 performers will play full sets.

Alan Jackson is performing March 9th, in Houston at the annual Livestock and Rodeo Show.

I wonder if Jimmy will come by that evening to join in?

Texas Stadium is in Dallas.

The Houston Livestock and Rodeo Show is in .... hmmmm....

The Texas Motor Speedway is... Fort Worth. For you yankees, that is a bit to the left of Dallas.

Just talked to a freind whose mom works for Texas Motor Speedway and she claimed she already has pit row tickets to the concert! So I think it is going on!

I just called Texas Motor Speedway and an employee in the ticket office confirmed it was happening, but had no ticket information because the concert will be run by an outside promoter (gave me no name), who will be in control of ticket distribution. He said that it has been on the Radio in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.

I live in Ft. Worth. I just called the ticket office and they said they had no word of a concert on Memorial Day. I have not heard anything on the radio about either. I'll try to call back again and talk to someone else to see if I get a different response.
I hope it's true, that would be a killer concert!

I live in Dallas and I listen to the radio all the time. I haven't heard it and I've checked out all the websites for the local radio stations and so far nothing.....
