According to a reliable source in St. John, USVI Jimmy will be appearing
with Matt Lauer tomorrow on the Today show. They will be broadcasting from
Virgin Gorda, BVI as part of the "Where In The World..." segment.

About what time should it be on?? I watched him in Moscow this morning but dont remember what time. I hope Jimmy is there!!

wow, i will be very excited if matt lauer is in virgin gorda. it's where i will be in 78 short days.

and to see jimmy on the show - that will be fantastic!

but what is the source for this info? The Today Show guards matt lauer's whereabouts very carefully. even katie, al and ann don't have a clue where he will be.

Did anyone watch this morning? What was the clue that lauer gave?

Okay, the tip from the Today Show website reads:
If Jack Sparrow comes to call, there are no neighbors to run to.

I have no idea what that means - anyone want to offer an opinion as to whether this confirms or denies the rumor that Lauer will be on Virgin Gorda tomorrow morning?

Actually, I'm thinking about it some more. There was a contest, and the winner gets to go to the final location with Matt and be on national TV, and then stay over for 3 nights. Virgin Gorda would be just the type of place they would do that - cuz it's not too far and it's a vacation spot, don't need shots, etc. Ooooh weee! I'm getting excited for it!

I read it on the Buffett list at yahoo. The person who posted it got it from someone down in BVI. Seems like a show even like that would have to arrange the interviews, etc.

That would be CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean...makes sense that it is in the Caribbean then.

On Access Hollywood they just gave another clue but I'm not positive I have it right. I want to say it was "We turned up the heat on Gus Van Sant." The host said he thought it was Death Valley because that's where "Jerry" was filmed.

There will be another clue on Countdown with Keith Olbermann MSNBC now. I'll listen for that.

So far Keith has gotten 2 out of 4 places right. I don't know his guess for the fifth clue.

"If you check out the schedule at Radio Margaritaville, there is a segment at 5:30 - 6:00 am, called "Are you Listening, Katie?" and again at 7:40 am - 8:00 called "Are You Listening Matt?"
