Just wondering what the drinking habits were for most of the BN group.

Would you say:

1. I never touch the stuff. :)

2. Only when Jimmy's in town. :D

3. Only on the weekends. 8)

4. Only on days that end in "y" :o

I'm usually just on the weekends. Then not every weekend either. In the summer it is a different story. There is just something about the warm weather that makes your favorite alcohol taste a little better!

I'm a pretty light weight drinker, a couple over the weekend if I go out and maybe one or two beers during the week. I've bought six packs that have lasted nearly a month. I have started drinking little more wine over the past few months.
That said this is a drinking week; I'm off to New Orleans on Thursday and am trying to build up some tolerance. I do the same the week Buffett's in town. I'm usually very good about knowing my limit but I was Passed Out Guy once and never want to play that role again.

Problem we have here in Indiana is the the blue law. Its illegal to sell alcohol on Sundays. So what everyone does is buy their Sunday alcohol on Saturday. I usually drink my Sunday beer on Saturday night. :o :o :o :o

I'm a light weight, too. My favorite is dry red wine. I used to drink a lot of it in the fall and winter. I always said I could never become an alkie on the hard stuff, but I could easily become a wino! (Note: my idea of drinking "a lot of wine" would be half a bottle, though on a cold, rainy night a whole one used to look ok, too.) But I have found I have enough trouble sleeping too much without adding wine to the mix. And I have elevated liver enzymes, too, and I figure I'd like to keep my liver. So I don't drink much.

When I go out to dinner (which is not that often) I like boat drinks, and apricot sours, and stuff like that, but I find that they are so filling and sometimes so sweet, that there're only so many of them I can drink.

My hubby always has a scotch before dinner, and a beer or two with dinner. So I'll often have a sip or two of the beer. In the summer I'll have probably half of the beer he has.

In October, I stumbled onto this place and have been addicted ever since.
In July of 1973, as a 15 y/o, an older woman (a senior) coaxed me to a camp fire with talk of popcorn and marshmellows. Little did I know she had Boones Farm and Pabst Blue Ribbon on her mind. Ever since then, I guess I am just compulsive. (see ruined me on several fronts)

Boy, you must have been a pretty hot fifteen year old to have attracted a senior girl!

And weren't the original words to "Tin Cup Chalice" "Fill it up with apple wine"?

Only on days that end wtih "Y" is not 100% accurate, but probably more like two weekdays and both weekend days.......I'm a connoisseur of fine wines/beers/spirits, but I like to drink to get drunk, if that makes any sense
We used to laugh at Grandpa when he'd head off and go fishing. But we wouldn't
be laughing that evening when he'd come back with some whore he picked up in
