"Last Train to Paradise"

I just finished a great book titled “Last Train to Paradise” by Les Standiford”. If you love the Keys (like most of us do) and want to learn more about how that railroad actually got built, it’s a great read. It is truly an amazing story and you can really appreciate how difficult it was to get the railroad completed and all the problems Henry Flagler went through. It will give you a new appreciation as you drive down the Overseas highway and glance over at the old railroad structures. I was fortunate enough as a youngster to visit both the Keys and the Henry Flagler Museum in Palm Beach. I have been back to the Keys every year since…my home away from home!
