Brewers vs. Cincinnati 1:05 pm Miller Park, should be about 15,000 there,we could probably get in free if we tell them how much we drink

Holy sh*t! This thread is cracking me up! Technically, it's still a rumor that the Alpine show is July 10, and we're going on 5 pages already. Can ya'll tell we have a little cabin fever!

I just confirmed it!! Talked to a friend who has an uncle who works in Toledo, OH. His uncle has a co-worker who knows this guy who once drove right past Alpine the morning of last years concert. Anyway, he met this guy who goes by the BN name Volcanohead. Volcanohead's brother hooked up with one of the girls parking cars last year and her brother just confirmed it....he goes by name dino!!

So there you have it.

It turns out to be not such a good date...

The Beach Bum Band won't be there because Johnny Russler is getting married that day...

And a main contingency fun bunch on our bus has a wedding conflict too... may put a whole kbosh on our bus... I think everyone banked on the usual August and June.

I'll be there regardless...

Tiki, Rob did say that about the Beach Bum Band...that is too bad....I really was looking to meet them...

I know, one in our group probably can't go because her daughter is expecting a baby around that time....

O.K., only because I know you are trying your best to be a downer, here's a list of the last 8 shows at Alpine. Granted, most are in July or August, but as you can see, in 1999 he did a show in July. There doesn't look to be a rhyme or reason to the scheduling other than how they correspond to the Chicago dates. So quit fussing...we don't know the reason the Buffett camp has chose to schedule July 10... but all indications point towards the fact that they have... so go with the flow and start looking forward to Alpine in July!!!

AND....if nobody noticed...this entire tour this year is messed up...partely because of his unfortunate loss last fall. With Hawaii, and with Florida being not in February....why question it? Of course everyone questions it until the day of the show....something could come up ever after a confirmed date, but I won't be the one missing the train!

I can't believe I am even worried about this....ok, I am not...

It is Friday, it is the Weekend, I am going to CIP for a Buffett fix this weekend, Going to Alpine July 10th with a lot of my phellow phriends, and that is the bottom line! Life is good!!!

Not me... I just thought of another wedding on the 10th too. If I get invited to any of them, I will be checking: _X_ Will Not Attend

I'm just bummed that it won't be so easy for some of my favorite drinking buddies! It's too early to say for sure, but I will be seriously considering re-routing via Janesville.
