Hawaiian Shirts
Ok, here is my problem. I have several Hawaiian shirts (none of which fit anymore) that I have purchased at local department stores (Target, Walmart, Kmart, etc.) I'm looking to buy a new one soon, but don't want to get the same kind of shirt. My problem has always been wrinkles! And I do not iron! I have several dress shirts that are 50% cotton / 50% polyester, and they are great at never wrinkling. All I can find in Hawaiian shirts are 100% rayon, silk, or cotton. What do most of you all do and from what companies do you buy them from?

Iron.........Bob Roberts wrote:What do most of you all do
I buy them from all different places, but the common denominator is that they all end up needing to be ironed. My Hawaiian shirts and my work clothes are the only things I bother to iron.....

I do that all the time. It works on almost anything.
But I still iron my Hawaiian shirts.

I need one of those!
I find that throwing shirts in the dryer for a while and hanging them up while they're still damp works really well. For the shirts that are already wrinkled, just hang them up in your bathroom while you take a shower.

I have one of those steam travel irons and it works pretty good on anything
less than jeans. also I am fairly anal about having my stuff look good
I steam my t-shirts I do not like to iron I just like to look fairly sharp
also rayon or a 50-50 blend of rayon rocks a lot of times the silly shirts
do not need any help. have a great trip

We've ordered from Culinary Classics before. They make some neat stuph. There are more fabrics than just those on the website. Just get their catalog. We ordered one that had Tikis all over it for my best friend. It was pretty kewl.

Well said Queenie. That's the way I handle it myself. I also let the shirts air dry after I hand wash them. This helps keep wrinkes out to begin with. As for brands, I like Reyn Spooner. Somewhat pricey, but you can sometimes get lucky and find them on sale.SMLCHNG wrote:Simple solution. Have a small spray bottle.. fill it with water.. spray the shirt when you take it out of the suitcase.. hang it up, or spread it flat on the bed. It helps the 'suitcase wrinkles'.
