Does anyone know the address of the new CIP or if the opening date has changed? I'm gonna drive there from Harrisonburg, so I'm still trying to find out when and where
Thanks in advance

I live in Fredericksburg and pass by CIP every day. The sign hanging out front says Grand Opening March 15. There was a recent article in the paper that said Jimmy was scheduled to be there on or around opening day. Rumor has it that tickets can only be won on radio stations. Not 100% sure about that though. If they do sell tickets, I'm sure the Rappahannock ParrotHead Club will snatch them up. Looks like a great restaurant and an excellent location.

Fredericksburg CIP
Is the CIP visible from 95? We are talking about Fredericksburg, VA, right? The town between DC and Richmond. Go pass there on occasion and would stop in.

The 1st 3 CIP's - Indy, Downer's Grove IL, and Middleton WI - all had a private grand opening featuring Jimmy playing a short set.
Ticket proceeds went to charity, and you had to "win" the chance to buy the tix, which were $75 apiece for IL and WI. In addition to Jimmy, guests were treated to unlimited food and drinks, and additional autographed items were raffled off for charity.
IL had a raffle for 75 sets or so in the charity hospital's parking lot, and the remainder were distributed via radio contests. WI was radio only. Both had limited VIP tables available for $5,000 donations.
And if you don't manage to get tickets, go to the opening anyway and hang outside. If it is built the same, you get a good vantage point, and could hear the whole show. This has proven most rewarding for many people, especially in WI where Jimmy went out and comingled with the outsiders, providing autographs, photo-ops, and good conversation.

What radio station in Fredricksburg would be giving away tickets? WFLS is the only station I know of down that way that would play Jimmy (and only because of his duo with Alan Jackson).
I'd be willing to make the trek down to F'burg for this if there's a chance in hell of getting a ticket. If not, I'll just stop at the Woodbridge Hooters.

Replies for a few of you....
The CIP is not visible from 95. You have to take the RT. 3 exit towards Culpeper. Exit 130 west....east will take you to old town F-burg and F-burg battlefields. If you are going South on 95, the ramp actually turns right in to Central Park where CIP is located. Can't miss the turn....first traffic light and major mess of an intersection. Turn into Central Park and follow the parkway. CIP is just past Circuit City, across from the Wal-mart, and next to BoneFish Grill.....think it is the 4th traffic light on the parkway.
If you happen to go to CIP on the weekends once it opens, just a word of advice. If you are in a hurry when you leave, don't try to get back to 95 the same way you came in. You end up sitting through 8 or 9 lights just to get back on to Rt. 3. If you leave CIP and go to the second light past the restaurant, you can use Fall Hill Ave to go back to RT. 3 if you turn left, or turn right and follow Fall Hill to Rt. 1 (A1A).
As for radio stations, B101.5 gives tickets away to his concerts every year, as well as WFLS, 93.3. There is a classic rock station that plays Buffett pretty regularly, think it is 96.5 (sorry, it is the third button on the memory of my stereo, but don't think that will help you...lol)

Here is some more info, though I can not vouch for reliability. (It's on the net, it must be true)
A Buffett tribute band from Richmond, Virginia has on their website that they are scheduled to play the Fredericksburg CIP on Friday, March 12th (private party) and then Saturday, March 13th (private benefit event).
After a quick search of this forum, I found that in this post a poster comments on seeing B2B and liking them.
