Planning is getting interesting to say the least. This damn air show is making my job a whole lot harder! :x
We might need to leave a little earlier than planned (say around 5pm) and walk a few blocks west to get the bus and make sure the traffic doesn't screw us up. But that will just leave us more time to party in the lot.
I'm trying to work something out with Sloppy's to get us all in no matter what time you show up, but if I can't make sure you get there good and early. Please don't shoot the messenger, blame the damn air show.
Don't forget to check your mailbox's for bus payment info, and get me $$$ ASAP please.

Update on Floridaze:
1. Please update me on the list from Maybe to Probably
2. There is a Mrs. Floridaze too who will be attending!
3. I have booked a hotel at the Crown Plaza by the Arena
a. All this chatter about the air show had me nervous about staying on the beach. The wife has informed me she would prefer the beach. I need to look into a hotel close to Sloppy Joe’s.
4. With no show in Orlando and a mandatory school camping trip during the Tampa show, this looks like this is my only Florida show!!!

I am looking forward to the weekend….and meeting all you crazy peoples!!!

If you decide to stay at the beach private message me and I'll get you the bus info. It's not going to be that big a deal we just need to be able to change the spot where we meet the bus if the traffic is worse than expected. Don't worry we've got a plan A, a plan B, and a plan C.

We still have plenty of room on the bus, if anyone else is interested just PM me for info.

I wanted to know if there were going to be any other gatherings closer to Office Depot Center for those of us who are not staying at the beach. My wife, daughter and I are staying at Crown Plaza and wanted to know if there were any parties planned at one of the Sawgrass mall bars/restaurants, parking lots, etc. I am game for anything. I'll be the pirate wearing tennis shoes and glasses. Ahoy mateys.

I'm interested in something by the Ofc Depot Ctr, too. We are staying over that way, at the Bonaventure and I really don't want to get tangled up in the AiIr Show traffic.

Hey Specks, my concern was the traffic from the Air Show as well. I know last time Jimmy was here Hard Rock got all tropical for us parrotheads. It doesn't matter to me were everyone goes I am just looking for a place to meet/make phriends, have a good time and preferrable to be in walking distance of the show. Open for suggestions here.

 Hard Rock would work for me. I'm not from the area and I don't really know of anything closer. Someone before had mentioned a place called Bahama Breeze(?) which according to their website is somewhere in or around Sawgrass Mills. (of course if Sawgrass Mills is anything like our Franklin Mills yuk :( !!!!). I'm just so excited to be going. Anything would work for me.

Well I just got off the phone with both Bahama Breeze and Hard Rock. The people at Bahama Breeze said that they had nothing special planned and that it would be just business as usual the night of the show. The person at Hard Rock, on the other hand, said they would be doing what they did last time with Corona specials, food specials, dressing the place up, etc. At this point we are headed to Hard Rock for pre-show adventures. Anybody else in?
