Hey y'all! I cant wait until the concert! I am coming in from G'boro with a nice group of parrott heads in tow (10 or so)! What bar is everyone meeting at before the show on Tuesday? I'm not sure where our group is going to meet but if they are willing, we would be more than happy to join the BN caravan. Fun ticket's in my pocket.....visions in my brian....

I'm still working on a bar for Tuesday I promise!!! Raleigh is just one of those places where if it's cool people will do it. I've talked to a bar that is less than 2 miles from the venue, but they would have to open early, so they wanted to know if it would be worth their time. I think it would be. but that's just me right now.

I guess to get this rolling can I please get somewhat of a count if you would like to meet up around noon for a pre-tailgate party. I think if I can get numbers to them, they will be a little more open to the idea?!?!?

So, I guess this is the OFFICIAL ROLL CALL for the Tuesday pre-party!

PM me with question or post, but were looking at less than 3 weeks to meet, so I would like to get this rolling....

We will be two for tuesday, just tell us where to meet! We can't wait! We gotta go where its warm!!!! It's freezing up here. Looking forward to Jimmy and good weather hopefully! Your idea sounds good to us, a bar seems like a great place to start tailgating.

UPDATE

I am working on a bar still that is within 2 miles of the venue. Getting the manager to call back is been a little pain in the tushie!

Also, I'm part of the local PH Club and they have a shindig going on, too. Problem is, there's will not start till 2 pm, so I don't know how people feel about that? I have good confo that the lot will open by 3 pm if not earlier. I would like to get to venue early and set up camp, but this other pre-party is an option.

I actually joined this past weekend. I've been here 5 years, but just now really decided to do it. It's called PHofNC and they have monthly socials at Sammy's (off the NC State campus) and due some other stuff. If you go to phip.com and look under local chapters you will get taken to their site. If you have any other questions, please let me know.

Do you have any plans for the Raleigh show???

Ok, didn't want this to fall off the page, so I will give an update. I'm meeting with bar manager tomorrow after work. The bar is only two miles from the venue and if people wanted to caravan over it's a nice easy drive back and forth. I will all let you know as soon as I get some more details on this.

I have a recipe for margarita jello shots, I will bring a bunch of those. We always do cheeseburgers and brats at Great Woods. How's the bar thing coming? Can we just meet there in the parking lot of the bar? It's getting close, 4 days till we leave for the beach WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Ok, the skinny on the bar. It's called Edwards Mill Bar which is READY??? Off of Edwards Mill Road!!!

Anyways, this bar is less than two miles to the RBC (in fact, just one right turn) away. If your coming from Amerisuites and that you will actually do a drive by of the RBC. I figured this would give everyone a chance to get aclamated with their fins. We're shooting for a noon meet up and taking it from there. The lots open at 3 so we will just move the party there. I will post directions here shortly. I just want to confirm myself, so I don't loose anyone. If you have questions about anything, please PM me or post.
