HELP?! We're coming up from Atlanta the day of the show. I was there in '98 and remember a bar/restaurant across the street from the Coliseum that had some pre-concert activity. Any ideas what will be going on around the coliseum within walking distance (other than the tailgating attempt)? I'm bringing two "first timers" and want to show them what it's all about. Any info is appreciated.

botbrnk - there is a bar across from the coliseum, sits right beside the amerisuites called jocks and jills... we understand from previous years this was the place to be... corona girls and all
we will be in that general vicinity until the gates open at the coliseum...

NO Everclear in NC? It is available in Tennessee. And we make our own stuff here too!

I have a friend that works at the bar across from the coliseum. I was told by the assistant manager they are planning to set a stage up in the parking lot and have a couple of bands playing that day before the concert. A server told me they like the parrotheads because they are such nice people.
And, yes, Everclear can be bought in NC.

Oh, and count myself and 15 others going to the concert. Took my oldest son and his girlfriend to the concert in Raleigh two years ago. This year my youngest son and his girlfriend will be going with us. Helps them understand a little better why they've grown up on Buffett!
