Anyone seen the movie "Club Dread"?

According to the
Orlando CityBeat it's a "Simply Dreadful" movie, however, there is a burned-out Jimmy-Buffett copycat character in it

It also appears an AP writer doesn't much care for Buffett either:
How Broken Lizard got Bill Paxton to debase himself with an embarrassing role as a Jimmy Buffett-style one-hit wonder is the biggest puzzler.

I haven't seen the movie, but the Houston Chronicle writer had this to say...
"I chuckled at exactly one thing in Club Dread: a parody of a Jimmy Buffett song title -- I'd Tell Ya But Then I'd Have Tequila."
Rated the movie a D.

Its made by the same people who did Super Troopers
Only way to watch Super Troopers is after you have had a couple( remember when I say couple--im talkin like 6 or 7) strong drinks. Then its hysterical. Im sure this movie will be the same way

I saw the movie last night and although it wasn't as funny as Super Troopers there was one part that made me laugh so hard I almost passed out. I don't know if everyone else will agree but I am still laughing about it.
If you don't want to read this part since you are going to see the movie then stop reading now!!!
SPOILER:
==============================================
Some of the tourists at the resort ask Bill Paxton's never-a-success-like-Jimmy-Buffett-character to play Margaritaville and he flips out because his song: Pina-Colodaburg was never a success

I hope I don't step on any toes here but I personally thought Super Troopers was on of the dumbest movies I'd ever seen. With the exception of a couple of scenes, I just didn't get it. Maybe I wasn't drunk enough when I saw it.

It just takes a certain sense of humor I think. (and I'm not saying you have a bad sense of humor). Cause I've watched it both sober and drunk, and it's hilarious to me even when sober

Yeah , that's it. Just like "Groundhog day" I thought it was one of the funniest movies ever but some friends of mine felt totally different.

Got tickets to the Fort Lauderdale show in the morning and topped it off with a trip to the theater to Club Dread. I thought it was hilarious. I think Coconut Pete's Pina-Coladaburg's a close rival to Margaritaville lol. I think I was the only Parrothead in crowd who really got the Son of a Son of a f**** line. Super Troopers meets Margaritaville... awesome.

I'm putting this in the off topic forum, with other "movie" threads. Hope no one minds.

The ONLY redeeming quality that movie had were the Buffett jokes. It was painfully long and generally unfunny. A few parts had me laughing hard, especially when Bill Paxton goes nuts after the Margaritaville request, but this is one movie I wish I could get my $10 back for and wait 'til the DVD comes out.
Super Troopers was one of the funniest movies I have ever seen, I just don't get how they could go from that to this.

I absolutely love Super Troopers. I was disappointed by Dread. I think if I would have seen Club Dread first, it would have been better. My sights were set pretty high for it, and although I did laugh some, it really did have a lot of unfunny parts.
And speaking of Buffett references, did anyone else catch the album title joke? Somethink like "Pink Crustacian and wet panties." I was literally the only person in the theater that laughed at that.
