BIG NEWS CONCERNING BUFFETT @ FENWAY

Post by RAGTOP »

Like every Monday I went home for lunch and on my front stoop was a copy of my neighborhood paper the The Boston Courant. The front page headline read "Fenway Park Will be Margaritaville"!!!!!!!. I'm trying to find the article online but since it is a small neighborhood paper I'm having difficulties. I'll give you the jist of the article. First off there will be 2 shows. 1 Friday September 10 and 1 Sunday September 12. Although not finalized they are working on the final negotiations. The Sunday show will begin at 3PM. They are strongly considering closing Yawkey way down to traffic. I'll add more when I can. This made my day!!!!

Monster seats would be cool, but since the stage is in centerfield it might give you sort of a strange angle. Infield roof box seats will be the tix to get :D You can usually find me in 1 of 2 places during the summer. 1 at a JB show, 2 at Fenway and final my worlds may come together!!!

If they close down Yawkey Way like they do for Sox games you will be able to drink outside. Also as I'm sure you know the Fenway area has no shortages of watering holes.

I had heard the sox and Buffett were talking about this, I'm glad to see they came to terms.

I hope these shows are in addition to GW, because I don't care how many streets they close down, you'll never get the same atmosphere as the GW parking lot.
Indecision may or may not be my problem....

If they do finalize the negotiations I have no doubt that this will be in addition to his 2 shows at GW. That will make 4 shows in 11 days :D

If I had to guess, at this point I'd guess that we're getting 2 Fenway and skipping GW..... :( :( :(
