I'm sad to say (not as sad as Greg and Jayma) that they are not going to be able to join in your conga line. Jayma has to work due to the CWA/SBC strike.
The good news is that they will be able to make the concert.
They were so looking forward to hooking up with everyone. Just the same I know they will enjoy the concert. Thank y'all for being so kind to mi amigos. Y'all have fun and I'll be joining you via RM. Fins up!!!!

Wow... I've been going to Buffett shows for awhile but last night's crowd was without a doubt, the loudest I personally have ever heard. I had chills numerous times throughout the night and especially during all 4 of the encores. You could tell this city had not seen Jimmy for 3 years and it was obvious that Jimmy was truly moved by all of the love. As someone mentioned earlier on this site, he looked to be completely speechless at the end of the night and spent a little extra time shaking hands, etc with the people in the front row. Going with "Stories" ended one of the most magical nights of my life.
For future references, the tailgating was excellent all day. We got there around 2 and had no problems, aside from a couple of friendly undercover cops who ensured people were using cups instead of cans/glass.
I'd love to hear from anyone else who went to the show.

What a fun day/night!!! Even the guy in the row behind us who lost his cookies during the second set couldn't spoil it
Venue personnel were very quick to respond and clean up the mess, which I really appreciated!
I don't remember which encore it was when he came out, got on his knees and did the "I'm not worthy" bow to the back audience, but EVERYONE was going crazy! If Jimmy gets his energy from the crowd, that could explain the fantastic show he put on! He really seemed "into" the performance and I loved it!

We (LIPH and my friend) tried to go to the Holiday Inn, we couldn't park there. But I had Hoosier PH on the phone, and he offered to save the space next to his group, so we ended up in the Shot lot. Gloubeachbum and her husband joined us there a bit later.
Was anyone else as impressed as I was by the sheer number of restrooms?!! I only had to wait once, and there was just one lady in front of me- I might've stood there waiting for 30 seconds.

Yes I did, Brahmafear! They were sitting right next to me! Actually, "sitting" is not the correct term - we were on our feet the whole show and had a ball! Hope I didn't drive them too crazy - I was pretty wound up that night!brahmafear wrote:JW I believe you ran into Greg and Jayma at the concert Saturday night!JW wrote:Oh man, what an AWESOME show last night!!! I was at the Holiday Inn parking lot, inside at the bar, next door, and didn't see any BNers! I'll need to plan better next time!!

He was right in front of us when he did that. Jimmy is the GREATEST!!!!!I don't remember which encore it was when he came out, got on his knees and did the "I'm not worthy" bow to the back audience, but EVERYONE was going crazy! I did, but it was too dark in that cornerParit5.0 wrote:I was at the Holiday Inn parking lot, inside at the bar, next door, and didn't see any BNers!
