Camden Show?

Any information about when the Camden tickets will go on sale? I thought they were going on sale the 13th. The Tweeter Center updated their web site this morning and added Sting and Linkin Park. Both shows go on sale the 13th at 10AM. I wonder if they will move the on sale for Buffett to the 20th. Also, last year tickets for Camden were restricted to NJ, PA, and DE residence. Does anyone know if this year's concert will be restricted?

Based on the website, I think Margaritaville got it wrong.

Looks like March 20th, unless they have it on sale at 12:00 on the 13th.

Based on what website? Neither TM nor the Tweeter Center's site even list the event yet.

I called both Tweeter and Ticketmaster and they have no list of this event as of today the 8th.

We know the date of the show is confirmed - 6/29 is firm. The onsale dates seem to be released by TM pretty late, maybe they just like to see us scramble.

It is not unusual for more than one big show at the same venue to go on sale on the same date. I've been in line with Brittney fans, Christina fans and even Yani fans one year :D .

I hope they keep the 13th.

I hope it is this weekend as well, I just want to get that horrible TM experience over with!

FYI... The E-centers web site has sting going on-sale on Mar 11th now.

Also, I hope that they do restrict Camden tickets sales on Saturday to Southern Jersey, Delaware and PA (like last year). With no other dates currently scheduled for the North East (keey word "currently") I feel that there could be an even greater demand on tickets (is this possible?)

I am still perplexed as to why there are so many shows scheduled for the mid-west this year and currently only 2 tour stops scheduled for the mid-Atantic. Even if they do add the 2 shows at Fenway, there are still a lot more shows scheduled in the central US.

Good luck to everyone!

Missy Elliott, Beyonce, and someone else, too    Why on earth can't they stagger the start times ????? You'd think it would be easier on the employees, too

I'm also more than a little unhappy that the sale date was only a week and a half after the show date was announced. I know the tour dates were released later than usual, and I'm doing some serious tweaking of my bills to be able to use my credit card. Usually there's a leadtime of a few weeks to prepare. :-?

I think that that may actually work to our advantage... maybe those people who don't constantly check this and other buffett related websites won't realize that the tickets go on-sale this weekend (wishfull thinking, right?).

I just got off the phone with the Tweeter Center (3rd time this week), and again they told me that they are not going on sale this weekend. I even pressed her a bit saying that I was reading info to the contrary all over the internet and would be really p*** if I missed out, and she said I can GUARANTEE they are not on sale this weekend. I really think it's going to be the 20th - and I'm not saying this so I get the tix and nobody else does.

I also heard on the radio today that Kenny Chesney tickets go on-sale the 20th at 10am...

Looks like they were being straight with you - margaritaville.com just changed the onsale date for Camden to the 20th.

Hi, some of us from Mass are thinking of going down to NJ. Hows the parking lot? is it better to stay in NJ? Can we get tickets on line in ma? Fenway doesnt look good and the rumor about Jones Beach sounds like it will be tough to get. Does Camden usually sell out as fast as Greatwoods does? thanks :D

Camden will be sold out in about 10 minutes (usually only the first 5-6 people in-line get tickets).

last year they restricted internet and phone sales to South Jersey, Pa and Deleware only (not sure what they'll do this year)

P-lot is pretty good. They open early (around 10-11ish) and the cops are excellent. However, the lot is very laid back... I think this is becuase the lots are scatter throughout the area and there isn't just one big lot (or maybe it's becuase they are right on the water). But for some reason, they don't seem to be a wild as Pittsburgh, Nissan and GW. But don't get me wrong, the lots are still a ton of fun and the tailgating is great.

As far as staying in the area, you can get hotels in PA, either in Philly or Bucks and Deleware Counties (It is about a 1/2 hour drive from Bucks or Deleware Counties to the venue if you stay close to I-95), or in NJ (but what ever you do DO NOT GET A HOTEL ROOM IN CANDEN. You will see what I mean as you drive into the lots, it is a slum!) If you choose the NJ route, try for Cherry Hill or Deptford areas.

Hope this helps!

Greatwoods has a capacity of 20,000 Fenway will hold 36,000 for a concert.

I'd say all and all you've got a better shot at tickets for this Fenway show than you ever do at Great Woods.

thanks for the info! and they are not selling the bleacher seats at fenway so its not 36,000 and season ticket holders get first dibs, so I still think it doesnt look good, sorry I'm the glass is half full kinda person.

No, but if it's like the springsteen show, there will be additional seating in the infield... that's where the 36,000 comes from.
