I was reading this subject and ran across the posts about this book. My hubby loves stuff like this, so I went out and bought it for him yesterday. You just never know what you will find out reading this board!Key Lime Lee wrote:Definitely not one of the easier books I've read. Triggerfish Twist is good...make time to get to it....that Dorsey has one strange mind....mrmiata wrote:Tourist Season by Carl Hiassen.
The book in the bag for this weekend's trip to Key Largo is Triggerfish Twist by Tim Dorsey. Don't know if I'll have time to read it, but I might get some time on the plane.
After that it's anybody's guess. I might get back into Ghost Rider by Neil Peart. Had to put it down with about 9/10ths of it finished. I couldn't plow through it anymore, though I really enjoyed it.
I'm on my last book in the Shopaholic series. Can You Keep A Secret is next.Trevor K Bama wrote:I just finished 'Can You Keep A Secret?' by Sophie Kinsella (she wrote Confessions of A Shopaholic too). Funny book, a la Bridget Jones Diary.
I'm off to the library in a few...

Didn't TNT or TBS make a movie about that story? I think I remember it from several months ago...Melli_Fera wrote:I'm hoping to pick up "Mists of Avalon" by Marion Zimmer Bradley from the library tonight.
It's about the magical legend of King Arthur through the eyes of two women. There is the darkly bewitching Morgaine, half sister to Arthur and a high priestess of Avalon. For Morgaine, there is only one quest- to keep Christianity out of Britain, and return it to worship of the Mother Goddess. The lovely Queen Gwenhwyfar is torn between her duty to her king and God, and her passion for the dashing Lancelet.
I wrote her name down (Jane Green), I'll look for her & the Shopaholic books! Thank you!margaritagrl26 wrote:I'm on my last book in the Shopaholic series. If you like Sophie Kinsella you might want to try Jane Green as well.
