I'm debating on whether to read Tina Fey's 'Bossypants' or start on the GAme of Thrones series. I started watching it on HBO. Maybe I should wait until the season is over.
FYI I LOVE LOVE my Kindle!
I read The Lincoln Lawyer several years ago and loved it. That could just be because my dad is a criminal defense lawyer and drives a Town Car. Matthew Mcconaughey was not who I pictured playing the role, but maybe I'll check it out on RedBox when it comes out.
Go ahead and read Bossypants. It was hilarious and it's a quick read. Save Game of Thrones for after the first season is over. There are only three more episodes.
McConaughey wasn't my first choice, either. In fact, he wasn't even on my radar. But, my goodness, he is PERFECT. And Maria Tomei is spectacular as Maggie Fierce.
I am going to purchase the movie when it comes out on DVD. It's that good.
Marisa Tomei is always good... especially now that she's gotten into the more mature roles.

Started to burn out on the Dresden series (worked my way thru both of WEB Griffin's series, the Badge and Brotherhood of War [except for the last novel of the latter, it had gotten just too freakin' drek-like...]) and thought I would cleanse the palate with a combo of regular novels, and the short stories from his newest collection to get the chronological order down). So.. Simon R. Green, Tales from the Darkside series.

It really was lovely, wasn't it? Her voice wafted in my head the whole time I was reading the book.
I'm half way through the second HUNGER GAMES book. Am still liking the story, characters.

I just finished The Shimmer, by David Morrell. It was my first & probably last by him...my suggestion...don't waste your time with this one. 300+ pages of what at best is a 100 page short story...no substance, no character development, and unlikable characters.

I heard the author of this book on the news yesterday and will be buying it today.
It is about the NASA intern who stole the moon rocks for love. It sounds like a interesting read. From what I can tell, there is already a plan for a movie.

I'm in the middle of it. After watching, Midnight in Paris I went to the bookstore to buy A Moveable Feast and found My Life In France on the bargain table for $3.99. Is your "Julia Child" voice Julia Child or Meryl playing Julia?
