Conched: It's one scary a$$ book. I'm about to go out on the web and find some "real" reviews of it before I write mine. With his rep as a scientist and with all the real footnotes, it makes for very interesting reading. No spoilers here, but I will recommend it.

Jen: I need you to read STATE OF FEAR and then tell me if Crichton's research is right. This one is going to keep me up nights until I sort it out. He said he read research on global warming for three years before starting the book, so I figure I'll have an opinion ready somewhere before I hit 70!!!!

Key Weird should be on Amazon and in a few Florida bookstores in a couple of weeks. If we can get one of the big book distributors to pick it up, it may be available nationwide by the of end of next month.

Well, I didn't exactly win it, I did it the "buy it now" way.

Now I'm gonna have to look into Key Weird!!!
