bus parking at Nissan

Since no one answered me on the main page, I will ask my question to you folks. Has anyone ever been to the bus parking area at Nissan? We have about 25 of us coming this year, and were going to take a bus to cart us out and back from Washington DC so no one has to drive. The past few years I have been in the main lot and don't want to lose the experience in the bus lot. I have heard that it can be bad (exhaust fumes from running buses, cramped, etc), but it may be just a rumor. We have the standard pop tent, tables, chairs, bar, etc. Can anyone give me any information on this lot? Thanks!

caphill - i am not familiar with where they park the buses... but nissan is really one large lot so the buses are more than likely tucked in a corner... we are pretty easy to find from all directions... portajohn sits in the back of our truck with the foster's kangaroo hanging from the top... that is how our entire gang finds us!!! hope to see you there!

YEP!

What I'll do is just buy a 80 yard bannister and set it up at back of the pavillion... I'm sure you have been there... really steep ya know. Anywho, all of the fairer species can ride for free and we will have a judging pannel for the best Monkey Shine!

There is plenty of room to set up anyhting and everything you want to if you get there early enough. The van/limo parking is pretty open. I am not sure what they do with buses. I am usually over by the pond, so I don't know a whole lot though.

Hello All...
I will be attending my the 7/3 show at Nissan Pavilion, a venue I have never been to before.
What is the Nissan Pavilion's approach to partying/drinking in the parking lot before the show? Are open containers okay? It is better to go with solo cups? What is the general feel of the lot like? Do I need to be extra cautious?
Also...I am planning on making on big mixed drink in a cooler of some size. Any ideas/recipes? No need for it to be too strong or too light, I want this massive drink to be just right! Any ideas on what and how much to include?
Thanks so much! I cannot wait for the show...less than 3 weeks!

What you do is tell everyone who is coming with you or meeting you there to bring a clear liquor, PGA, rhum, tequila, gin, it doesn't matter as long as it's clear (think LI iced tea). You start with a bunch of fruit punch and add everything anyone brings. You will be the hit of the party. Slice some limes and lemons and float them in the cooler for looks.
I will be looking for your group!

i highly suggest you bring the ole stand by "red cup" with you.. open containers are not a good idea, especially if they are glass... if you keep the back of your vehicle open, just have any alcohol covered with a blanket or beach towel... grills are very welcome and have never been a problem... can't think of any recipes right now, but if i do, i'll let ya know!
