Exactly 2 months from today we'll be nursing king-sized hangovers and wondering where the heck we put the phone numbers of our newest friends . . . .

Say, wasn't somebody from the cinci Parrot Heads gonna post some tailgate scoops here? I know it's a tough venue to do it up well, nowadays.

i have attened cincy the past 4 years....last year we rented an RV, and went the night before and parked across the street. the cops woke us up the next morning at 6:00 and made us move. the race track bought the lot, and there was absolutly NO tailgating! they had police blocking the the entry ALL DAY!!!
there is a restaurant (AJ's) about 1 mile from the concert they have a good party and some tailgating....
but Cincy will never be the same again...

It's been a long time since I posted to a thread so bear with me. I just got through reading all the posts regarding the upcoming concert. There seems to be some questions as to whether we have any fun tailgating.......I'm not sure where a lot of you were last year but we had a GREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAT TIME!!!!!! We parked across from Riverbend and arrived about 2:00 P.M. I have some GREAT pictures from the tailgate party if anyone is interested!!!

I'm coming down to Cinci with some phriends, and we're definitely looking to tailgate. Where did you park across the street? Even if we can't start until 2:00 it's better than not at all.

Per my earlier post, I do have pics from several years of tailgate parties at Riverbend, however, they are not on a public server, hence I cannot post them. Just a reminder folks, as the big night is only days away now, our lot will still be open on sutton road. Sutton road is closed off 3 miles up from rt.52 (in front of Coney Islands main gate) due to road construction. . Parking will be on a first come, first serve basis, and will be weather permitting only. No rain. RV's welcome. Lot will be open aug,31 unless other arrangements are made with us. a map is availiable here

We are leaving from Jersey Monday night, should be in Cinncy around 9am.....We want to get started early! Bringing some of that fine Jersey Beach with us!

Park in the River Downs parking lot. You can get hammered there. The track restrooms are open during the day and if you want you can go make bets. Secondly, you don't have to cross Kellog Ave. And if you want to go into the World's largest swimming pool, you can do that too! I will be there around 11:00 am. By the way I am new to this site and man it is great. I found it through Radio Margaritaville.
