If you come here because you just like talking to others on the board than I can understand that. If I felt that way about a performer I would find a different website to chat in... but thats just me.
I thought about your comment on the way home. I don't totally disagree with it but let me tell you my side. Jimmy's music and lifestyle gave a whole new meaning to my life. I found this site because of Cuervo (yes it's his fault) and found like minded/lifestyle people here. So for me I might not like what is going on right now with Jimmy but I do not hate him for it and he still has brought some quality to my life and through this website I have made many new phriends.
I totally understand

I'll add my two cents.
I think we all go through a "Buffett doesn't care" phase. Happened to me about 3 years ago. But I came to realize two things:
1) It is his candy store (or Tiki Bar). He created this monster and brought it this far. In my opinion, most of his decisions have been good ones.
2) But more importantly (again in my opinion) Jimmy is only one part of the overall experience. When I considered skipping a year, I realized the show was only part of it. I like the planning, the planning parties, the music and the people far more than I enjoy hearing Margaritaville for the 200th time.
Once I adopted that frame of mind, I had my best Buffett year ever! I traveled to see shows, met new friends and saw how they partied at different venues.
I was planning on GW this year for my 4th time. Reserved my room at the Red Roof when I was leaving last year. Won't be able to go to Fenway and I'll miss that. So I am making a road trip to Charlotte instead. Will the parking lot be the same as GW? I doubt it. Will I hear Margaritaville for the 201st time? Yeah. Will I have fun? Abso-friggin-lutely!
Make your own fun and enjoy it while you can. If you don't want to do Fenway (or any other venue) hit the road and enjoy yourself.
And keep in mind, if we feel this way when he is playing Fenway INSTEAD of GW, imagine how we'll feel when he is playing neither, nor Camden, nor Atlanta, nor Chicago...
We'll always regret the things we didn't do more than the things we did.

I love to see Jimmy just as much as anybody else and I love to read the comments on this board. They make my day. But I generally have to travel a great distance to see Bubba. I would love him to come play some venues in Ut, ID or even Wyoming. He could play at Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo ( The Grandday Of Them All). A lot of top stars ( county and rock ) play there every year.
H*ll, if Jimmy played here and Tomcat came out, I would get him a ride on a Bull
