No one complained about paying too little for tickets before he hit it big....
Let's see...bigger venues....bigger prices....bigger premiums on scaplper-sold tickets...bigger number of performers (playing with one or two country folk)...bigger number of problems in the lots cuz phans of the other singers will be different from Jimmy's phans...bigger traffic jams...bigger hassles by the cops 'cuz the crowds are bigger and cause bigger problems...

Yeah, I really like the direction this is going in!!!! We are SO lucky!!!!!
We'll party just like Bubba does,
We'll do the Old Man proud!

and mind you this is mostly because of some mediocre country song that jimmy sang the last chorus on.should james taylor have done the same thing when he sang background on the hot water album?jimmys next song is going to be a cover of money, money, money!

intesting how he'll do more shows now, when we've been seeing year after year for the last 8 years him shorten up the tour schedule.i hate to say it but i think the TIKI TIME TOUR may be the last one of its kind in some many differnt aspects.

And if it does, then so be it. Gotta admit....we've had a great run with Jimmy...definitely one of a kind.

In all honesty, I'm surprised that this concert has been made into such a big deal. I know that the tickets are more expensive than a regular Jimmy show, but you must realize that George Strait and Alan Jackson are two of the most popular country stars of all time. Has everyone forgotten that Jimmy also started out playing country music (and the fact that all of his music has a hint of country)? I know "5 O' Clock Somewhere" is not one of his best songs, but it became very popular and turned new people into fans. I have been a Parrothead for as long as I can remember, and I hate to see others have such little faith. Jimmy is still Jimmy, and he is one hell of an artist and performer. The fact that he is doing this one show with his buddies is not enough to convince me of the fact that he has changed for the worse.
