I live in Columbia, SC, and while I was at work today, a local radio station was having a tournament. They were putting various artists that are coming to Columbia for concerts in brackets and would play a song by the group and listeners were to call in and vote for the best. In the first round Jimmy Buffett went up against Aerosmith. Jimmy came out on top by a huge number. I believe he got 75% of the vote. Funny thing was is that the radio station was a rock station that never plays Buffett. Tomorrow Jimmy is up against Shania. The DJ said that Parrotheads are the most loyal fans around. PHINS UP FROM SC

Post the phone number when it's time to call, I bet we can flood that little station.

I wish I could post it when the contest starts, but they have done it at different times the past two days. IF I am around a computer tomorrow when it comes on I will post it.

In the other bracket, they have Prince vs Britney Spears. I think if Jimmy wins tomorrow against Kenny, than the Championship should be his. The reward is that whoever wins, than they will play 3 hours of that artists songs. You can call in and request any song you want to hear.

Would you at least tell us the name of the station, please? Maybe we can find the phone number on the net, and maybe someone else in SC who picks up that station can tell us when the contest is on, if you're not available.
