Maybe the announcers will crawl out of his ass for a while now...
as soon as they remove Jeter's nuts from their mouths

is it just me or do the announcers seem to be on the Yankee payroll too???

Deion Sanders, while annoying, self centered and overrated will always be Ok in my book after he dumped a bucket of ice and gatorade over McCarvers head while he was playing for the braves. A great moment in TV history.

It's really funny too. I happen to agree with you that they are very pro-Yankees, but most NY radio shows have the fans up in arms that they are so pro-BoSox.
Seriously. I guess it depends on whose listening.

NY Radio will bend over & open wide for anyone who wants them to....... If you are PC & have $$$$$, well then NY Radio is for you...... To me, NY radio is a pile of bias & predujice crap no matter who you like..... Each & every station............. As soon as some bills are paid off, Sirius or XM radio is on my list...............

I have been really busy (and moving a little slow due to lack of sleep) thus I have not had the opportunity to check in.
All I can say is WOW!!! This Red Sox team is not giving up. These have been 2 awesome games. I can't really weigh in on the bias, but as an outsider, it seems fairly even.

You've obviously never heard John Sterling, the Yankees' radio annouoncer. I was listening to the game on my Walkman while I was going back to Penn Station last night. After Tony Clark got that ground rule double Sterling must have said about 5 times that the Red Sox got a lucky break because Ruben Sierra would have scored if the ball hadn't bounced into the seats. It's not a lucky break, it's friggin' baseball. It happens all the time.

I am
'lucky'
enough to live close enough to pick up the Yankees Radio feed and listen to their games when the Sox are not playing. Sometimes Stiener and Sterling drive me crazy and sometimes they are Tolerable ...... But when Sterling does that Yankees win Theeeeeeee Yankess win call at the end of games I want to shoot him
The Red Sox did get lucky last night, very lucky that ball bounced over the wall. That was a 'yankee' like break but the same can be said for NY in game 1 when Ortiz hit that deep ball in the 7th with 2 on trailing 8-5 3 more inches that ball is gone and it's a tie game instead it stays in the park or the blown calls on the bases that gave NY several gift outs the past few games I am guessing Sterling wasn't gushing that NY was lucky those times.

Take it from me, as a hardcore YANKEES fan...............Steiner and Sterling are so BRUTAL!!!!! Steiner puts me to sleep and Sterling is such an unabashed homer that it becomes embarassing to listen to.

I've tried that. Jerry Coleman used to do Yankees games, it had to be at least 25 years ago. What a clown.

One of the nicest people you ever could meet....but play-by-play is not a strong point. He is going into semi retirement next season...only home games...OH DOCTOR! YES

Jerry did Yankee games in the mid 60's...a little more than 25 years ago

...someone is aging themselves
