I am kind of surprised that the Yankee/RedSox series has been so clean sportsmanship wise...... They all seem to be a little too nice to each other in this series......

MSNBC has a poll on their home page - Do you think the Red Sox will beat the Yankees tonight? So far the results are:
Yes - 69%
No - 31%

I agree Kitty. Why would you want a tarnished win that is always going to be thrown up at you? Fair and square.......nothing you can say or do about it.

I bet Steinbrenner would disagree. All he cares about is winning, he thinks the Yankees should go 162-0 every year. I haven't seen any of the local papers today but I'd love to see what he had to say about the umpires reversing those 2 calls that both went against the Yankees last night.

I can honestly say that last night was the first time I saw "that look" on the faces of Yankee fans. We Sox fans know that look and usually have it on several times a year....but I have never seen it on the faces of Yankee fans in Yankee Stadium :o

Near the end of the game when they were showing the Yankees standing at the edge of the dugout, it looked like some of the players had that "look" too. Almost as if they couldn't believe they were losing.

Well before this night is over, "the look" will either be broadcast from Yankee Stadium or not seen on tv as it is in all of the bars in the city of Boston. That for sure is a definite outcome...

As great as this has been the only game that matters is tonight. If NY wins not much will be made of this Red Sox comeback. Admittedly I am a bit uneasy going into tonight’s game knowing Lowe is on the mound :-? . I think NY is in better shape pitching wise right now so allot depends on DLowe and that frightens me. This game could be worth million$ to Lowe, if he pitches well with the whole world watching he could increase his value come free agency next month. Sox need to score early and put pressure on NY.

Regardless of the outcome if I don’t make a post with 8 hours of the game ending call for help
   :o :o :D

I think it comes down to the bullpen...again. The Sox having pitched Foulke again last night gives the Yanks an edge there. Pat...we'll send out a search party if we don't hear from you

I'm still trying to figure out where I'm going to watch the game tonight. On one hand I've watched the last 3 games at home and they have won (why mess with it), but it would be fun to walk down to Lansdowne, watch it there and partake in the festivities (legal ones mind you) if they win. Of course if they lose I will be an emotional mess and they may be slightly embarrasing in public (see 2003 ALCS :-? ).
