Cavanaugh's River Deck is right on the Delaware River on the Philly side, close enough to Camden and Cherry Hill. On Saturday June 26 they are having a big warm up for the Buffett show 3 days later. Scott Kirby is playing, other Buffettesque bands, drink specials, etc.. Here is the link.

Good way to start the pre-Buffett festivities early! See you there.

I just took a quick swing by the Tweeter Center, all the parking looks the same, I'm sure lot 6 will be one of the first to open, that is the biggest and is only used for the Tweeter and baseball and there is no game that night.

Lot #6 is right on the water at the end of Market St.

See you there.

I went to a show there a few weeks ago and they checked my phone.

If you have a camera phone you better hide it, lie about it or leave it behind. They made me open my phone and show that it wasn't a camera phone.

They were checking the ones they took at the gate.

This was a new one on me. :o

My phone isn't a camera phone but I won't be bringing it into the concert anyway. Everybody I know understands that I won't chance spilling my drink to talk on the phone.

How well do they check for the ocassional 'hidden' camera or booze??

A well endowed friend of mine was able to hide her camera in her chest, and had no problems with security.

In the past, security has padded us down, checked our blankets, and asked my wife to open her purse... so it is hard to smuggle things in, but not impossible.

I have smuggled in a throw-away camera before ... no great loss if found.
