When all our tears have reached the sea
Part of you will live in me
Way down deep inside my heart
The days keep coming without fail
A new wind is gonna find your sail
That's where your journey starts
You'll find better love
Strong as it ever was
Deep as the river runs
Warm as the morning sun
Please remember me

When the sun goes down
We'll be groovin',
When the sun goes down
We'll be feelin' alright
When the sun sinks down
Over the water
Everything gets hotter when the sun goes down

Groovin' . . . on a Sunday afternoon
Really couldn't get away too soon
I can't imagine anything that's better
The world is ours whenever we're together
There ain't a place I'd like to be instead of . . .
Groovin' . . . down a crowded avenue
Doin' anything we like to do
There's always lots of things that we can see
We can be anyone we want to be
And all those happy people we could meet just . . .
Groovin' . . . on a Sunday afternoon
Really couldn't get away too soon

I found my own true love was on a blue Sunday.
She looked at me and told me I was the only
One in the world.
Now I have found my girl.

no it really isnt...once a few people post and there are some to see it's pretty easy and fun actually...there are over 400 pages of post to a similar thread at CoBo
That thread IS still going there? That was one of my favorite threads there. I guess that is kind of unique because I've tried starting similiar threads at other boards and some folks just can't seem to grasp the concept of it and it dies a quick death. Thanks for starting a new one here.

Lady Madonna, children at your feet.
Wonder how you manage to make ends meet.
Who finds the money? When you pay the rent?
Did you think that money was heaven sent?
Friday night arrives without a suitcase.
Sunday morning creep in like a nun.
Monday's child has learned to tie his bootlace.
See how they run.

I love the sound of a jukebox playing,
So I sit here while she's staying home
watching Dallas on T.V.
I love the taste of whiskey straight,
But the strongest thing she ever takes
is a sip from a small glass of chablis.
Though birds of a different feather,
our love keeps us together,
And she knows what's wrong with me tonight,
I've got that Friday Night Fever;

this winter's song
I'll sing along
I've searched its still refrain.
I'll walk alone
if given this
take wing, and celebrate the rain.
I used to think, as birds take wing,
they sing through life, so why can't we?
we cling to this, and claim the best
if this is what you're offering
I'll take the rain, I'll take the rain, I'll take the rain.

Just yesterday morning they let me know you were gone
Susanne the plans they made put an end to you
I walked out this morning and I wrote down this song
I just can't remember who to send it to
I've seen fire and I've seen rain
I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end
I've seen lonely times when I could not find a friend
But I always thought that I'd see you again

Yesterday morning an ill wind came
blew your picture
right out of the picture frame
even blew the candle out
from underneath the flame
Yesterday morning an ill wind came.
It's a crooked piece of time that we live in
a crooked piece of time
all in all and all in all
It's a crooked piece of time.
John Prine-"Crooked Piece of Time"

I called you lastnight in the hotel
Everyone knows but they wont tell
But their half hearted smiles tell me
Somethin' just ain't right
I been waitin' on you for a long time
Fuelin' up on heartaches and cheap wine
I ain't heard from you in 3 damn nights
I put your picture away
I wonder where you been
I can't look at you while I'm lyin' next to him
I put your picture away
I wonder where you been
I can't look at you while I'm lyin' next to him
I saw ya yesterday with an old friend

Tried to phone from Paris thinking
Things could be arranged
Me and you could rendezvous
But I found your number changed
So I drove to San Remo where
The crazy painter dwells
And toasted our old photographs
Still up there on his shelf
the BEST Buffett song ever!

But when I get to Paris
We'll paint all our portraits
In brush-strokes of yellow
And christen the canvas
The left bank is crying
For colour to crown it
Like the roof of a palace
We'll drink in the amber
When I get to Paris

He went to Paris looking for answers
To questions that bothered him so
He was impressive, young and aggressive
Saving the world on his own.
But the warm Summer breezes
The French wines and cheeses
Put his ambition at bay
And Summers and Winters
Scattered like splinters
And four or five years slipped away.

See the curtains hanging in the window
In the evening on a Friday night
A little light a-shining through the window
Lets me know everythings alright
Summer breeze makes me feel fine
Blowing through the jasmine in my mind
Summer breeze makes me feel fine
Blowing through the jasmine in my mind
damn we have to play earlier....great song to go to sleep to in my head though

How many roads must a man walk down before you can call him a man?
Yes'n' How many seas must a white dove sail before she sleeps in the sand?
Yes'n' How many times must the cannon balls fly before they're forever banned?
The answer, my friend, is blowin in the wind
The answer is blowin in the wind

The summer wind, came blowin’ in - from across the sea
It lingered there, so warm and fair - to walk with me
All summer long, we sang a song - and strolled on golden sand
Two sweethearts, and the summer wind
Like painted kites, those days and nights - went flyin’ by
The world was new, beneath a blue - umbrella sky
Then softer than, a piper man - one day it called to you
And I lost you, to the summer wind
Summer Wind - Frank Sinatra

Call me the breeze
I keep blowin' down the road
Well now they call me the breeze
I keep blowin' down the road
I ain't got me nobody
I don't carry me no load
