Who's Comming to Atlanta?

Post by FarsideCobbPH »

It's that time of year again! Jimmy Buffett is in town and A1A will be playing their annual Pre-Concert Party at Malones Bar and Grill.Located at 1258 Virginia Ave. East Point, Ga. 30344, it is just a 10 MINUTE ride to the venue where Jimmy will be playing that evening. Malones always has free goodies, tickets and shuttles to and from the concert and as years gone by have proven, this is the best pre-concert party in town! So don't miss a great afternoon with Jeff, Scott, Koney and Laurie

I was wondering when this thread was going to appear......

Count me in....... But I beg to differ..... The best pre-concert party would be at our tent in the parking lot before hand. Party starts when the parking lot opens... 9am :D See ya there.... 8)

Yea I agree.. If you want the BEST party then bypass Malone's and go straight to the Lakewood parking lot. Now if Jimmy was playing INDOORS then Malones or Spondivits would be the place to go and since they are across the street from each other.... well you get the picture.

OH AND CREEKY.... it doesn't count and it doesn't count even more if you come to Atlanta and don't see ME!

The tailgaiting in Atlanta is definitely among some the best on his tour. Maybe even one of the last venues he plays to open way early and let you go crazy in their OWN lots. Enjoy yall!!! But be there by nine o'clock am for the best parking spots....

This will be my first Jimmy concert and I can't wait. I've already begun work on my portable bar and am looking forward to putting it to good use. I'm open to any advice anyone cares to share about what to expect, where to park, what to bring, when to get there etc....

Expect a huge party!! :pirate: I've always preferred the gravel lot behind Hi-Fi Buys over the paved lot in front. Get there as early as possible to get the best tailgating spots. Management always says they won't open the gate until 9 or 10 but a line starts forming at the gate around 7:30 or 8 and traffic becomes a problem so they open early. :P Last year was a little more subdued thanks to it being on a Thursday and raining, but still an awesome time. There are several threads going right now about what to bring. We'll look forward to seeing you there! 8)

yes be on the GRAVEL side of the lot. PM me or ngaparrothead if you want specific contact info on how to find us. BRING WATER and plan to NOT use the portopotties! They are horrible. I would say bring alcohol and food but I figured you would remember that!
