Kenny Chesney and Jimmy in Raleigh??

I noticed that Kenny Chesney is touring in the Carolinas the end of April (Columbia on the 22nd and Greensboro, NC on the 24th) but has no dates scheduled again until the 29th and I just can't help but think that he may make an appearance at Jimmy's show in Raleigh on the 27th.

Also, Chesney has dates on Florida on May 5th, 6th, and 7th with Buffett arriving there for a show on the 1st but is free for Chesney's concert dates. Could it be he will then appear at one of Chesney's shows in Florida to return the favor in Raleigh?

Far-fetched, I know.......but I can't help but think it may be more than just coincidence given their recent collaboration on Jimmy's new album. Anyone agree or is it just tremendous wishful thinking on my part?

PLUS... I dont know much about Chesney, but how many Buffett tunes does he cover if any?

I could see Jimmy dropping in preforming LTC with Chesney and maybe another tune or 2??

Stranger things have happened.

A feller can dream can't he? Marshall Chapman would also make another nice "dream duet" padner over any of most of today's wannabe country stars. She did open for him in Raleighweed a few years back but alas, no duet.

I know Chesney does Come Monday as a cover... and I bet you're right, he shows up for those shows in NC.

Chesney is a self proclaimed parrothead and calls the islands home. Ever sense he moved there, there has been an increasing tropical/beach theme to his songs. Listen to the song Old Blue Chair on his new CD....it is very Buffett like and just a great song as is Outta Here and When The Sun Goes Down. Chesney has covered Come Monday recently but has performed Margaritaville and Cheeseburger In Paradise live....and had a pretty big hit with Mac's Back Where I Come From.
