A Powerful Reminder

While we were worrying about the tour schedule and moaning about venues, this picture was taken by a pilot who flies commercial cargo for the government.

He flew to Kuwait with a full 747. He returned to the U.S. with one piece of precious cargo, the remains of a 20 year old soldier.

Please... Never, never forget that our freedom has been bought at the highest of all prices.......

There but for the grace of God....

Thanks Jen
We actually buried a young man from my home town Saturday, BFC and I drove by the church and it was such a sad sight, and we both said that it was like a reminder of how life is to short......and it can always be worse...
that picture speaks a thousand words.....

I saw the write up in the paper. :(

It's almost the one year anniversary of Salty Watkins death, too.

It doesn't matter if you agree with the war or not. It doesn't matter if you agree with Bush or not. Our men and women are going over there to do what they feel is their duty to keep America safe and they are dying for it! Thank you so much for your sacrifice to secure my freedom!!!!
