Since I was shut out of two JB shows this year within 3 seconds of going on sale
I wanted to get tickets to a Virginia Beach show (not JB) and the group's website advertised that their OFFICIAL presale would take place this past Tuesday. Well, on my T1 line at work, I could not even get tickets 1 second into it. So in my anticipation for Ticketmaster's advertised "open-to-all" sale this Saturday, I checked out the Virginia Beach Pavilion's website and an unexpected POP UP advertising Clear Channel's OFFICIAL presale came on the screen and said, "Presale tickets will go on sale 10:00am April 01, 2004".
Yesterday (March 31), I just wanted to go through the motions to set up an account since I never used Clear Channel's presale// played along with the login, etc... and I scored awesome seats... the day b4 they were supposed to go on sale. I checked back this morning to see if good seats were still available and pavilion seats were 7/8 bought.
Point is: When people go to Ticketmaster.com this Saturday, people are already going to be shut out of the pavilion.
What kind of scam is this?!! This type of business practice is unethical at best and though I have not heard of JB presales, I'm sure other back door deals are being made. -What the heck is going on??!!!!
