uhh...Any room for a couple of crazy Phans from NJ? We're flying down friday (get in about 6) and staying at the courtyard.
And that's the extent of our plans....HELP!!!
My poor hubby was dozin when I found out about the show...I squealed ...sleepy head said sounds good, lets go. So, I cashed in some miles and got the tics before he could come to his senses!
We'd love to pitch in... as long as it fits in a suitcase or can be bought on friday night...

I sent parrothead baby a pm. Here's a recap for any newcomers to the thread. The GOLD RV LOT is west of the stadium on the other side of Loop 12. Get there as early as you can and look for the boats (2 or 3 of them, hopefully near the entrance). Here's the parking map again;

The RV Lot is asphalt. If it's full there is a gravel lot behind it that may still be open. RV Lot opens at 8AM on Saturday.

We have an RV so it feels weird just flying down without all our supplies! We'd love to dish out some cash fto be a part of the mixer/generator... sounds like an excellent investment to me!

Someone had mentioned that it was a good distance from the Courtyard to Dick's Last Resort. (friday night pre-party bar)
Mapquest says it's 9.35 miles..........not TOO far is it?
Lot of those yellow cabs running around...........

CRC - Thanks for keeping up with the list of attendees - you are all over it! Please add the margarita machine and generator next to my name. That should stick out as much as the boats for any newcomers!

I bought the first batch of liquor today - 3 litres of Jose Cuervo Especial (gold tequila) and 1 litre of Hiram Walker Triple Sec. The tequila was $25 for a litre and the triple sec was $8. For consistency's sake, let's make sure we stick with these brands. I'll get all of the mix with the machine so don't worry about that.

I got (4) 55-gallon drums for poolwater at lunch today. It occurred to me that the water will get hot sitting out all day, so we need to keep adding ice. Will everyone that's coming pick up a bag or two of ice on the way in? I'll either bring some coolers or rent a small freezer to keep it all cold.

After work I hauled the boat out to powerwash the bottom and touch up the bottom paint. She looks good and she's ready for the party!

We're in for a batch....Cuervo and Walker 3:1 litre
I can't wait... we'll be in Dallas in less than a week from now!!!

Okay, Shrek 2 was pretty good (the cat is the best).... Just caught Radio Margaritaville and the last of the Ohio concert Sounded pretty good! But the announcer guy did say that RM would carry the Jimmy portion of the concert Saturday, but didn't know about the rest....
