Here's a copy of the email I sent to my group of friends here in town.
My contact info is there for the world to see.

I was supposed to be on a flight at 12:30 tomorrow afternoon, getting to Dallas at about 3:30 but I have to come to the office in the morning. I'm hoping everything we're working on now will get done and the $h!t won't hit the fan tomorrow so I can get out of no later than lunch time and only work 1/2 day. According to American Airlines' website there are still seats available on 5 other flights between 1:30 and 6:00, plus another flight at 8:15. Fingers are crossed.
Getting Closer

As a resident of Big "D" , I've been reading your forums here for a bit and have really enjoyed reading about the PH's heading here from quite a distance. Am looking forward to maybe seeing some of "Y'all"....
I passed by Texas Stadium on my way home from work about an hour ago and saw 5 Big 18 wheelers parked in the lot with "Alan Jackson" in huge letters on the side.
Hope to say "Howdy" to all our Parrothead Friends and Welcome to Big "D"

Just found out that my buddy, who I'm staying with Friday night, lives on the NE side of town; McKinney. It looks like we won't be making it to Dick's tomorrow night
Unless someone is coming from that side of town with room for two, I'll be meeting Jump Up at the Courtyard around noon.

After reading CRC's message, I went on a mission to see what the cheapest I could do it for. I was checking out Expedia, when I remembered that it was time for my weekly email from Cheap Ticket. Got my flight, room and car for about $200 cheaper than Expedia! Decided I couldn't pass it up, so I did it. The flight was alot better cuz it is nonstop too! I wish I had miles, but until this year, I hardly ever flew

, only about once a year. Guess I should look into getting a card with miles if I keep going at this rate!

LIPH – Sounds like at LEAST 80/20 to me – look forward to partying with you on Saturday
Mason – Quit worrying about it and get you’re a$$ out here – you’d better hurry though!
AB – you mentioned a freezer. How big is it? I could pick it up tomorrow.
Edge01 – you haven’t even met AB and already you’re getting lei’d!!
Opharbour – They said I could get a spider box with it for even more leverage – do you think I should?

I was planning to have my boat out of the water by now. It's storming pretty bad and I'm waiting for it to clear off before heading to the marina. I need to pack the first load tonight so I can get out of here pretty early in the morning.

Is there anything I can bring with me to help out for Saturday?

Ok, I'll just take JMP to FedEx tomorrow morning. Its a shame b/c it would have been one hell of a party.
Actually, I just gave JMP a bath and he is all packed up for the trip.

The party's back on! Bring JMP personally!
Now I'm thinking we need a red carpet - I'll check into that!

Mapquest of the Gold Parking lot (courtesy of the Lonestar Parrot Head Club).
http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?co ... ++Search++
Just enter the address of where you are coming from at the bottom and it will give you directions on how to get to the lot.
My hotel is 5.67 miles away

. It says it should take me all of 11 minutes to get to the party!!!!!
Can't wait to meet you all!!![/url]

is a Buffett virgin(except for the fact he lives the lifestyle 6mos out of the year down in Florida). most others joinng the party from my group are buffett amateurs too. it's interesting that as we get older (make fun now...) and age into our 30's, the idea of a party is still really similar to the early 20's years...it's just there's no crappy competition or drunken in-fighting.
This will be my first all-day all-night Buffet tailgate/concert/party and I couldn't be looking forward to anything any more than I'm than this party.
Phins up to new FRIENDS!!!!
A round of 'ritas for all!!!

You don't need to get a red carpet just for me.
Oh wait, you meant for JMP.
